1985 COLNAGO MEXICO CHROMEVELATO 50TH ANNIVERSARY
The chromevelato era was as short as remarkable. Due to a special procedure frames have the appearance of being chromed in certain colors when the are painted. As a later release of the 1983 Colnago Mexico this chromevelato represents the tribute to Giuseppe Saronni. This series was released in green, blue and red. Later the chromevelato technique showed unhandiness as plenty of paint chips occurred. Those sensitive bikes weren’t meant to race thus they slowly disappeared from production. This one kept its beauty over the years what we have appreciated in mounting a Campagnolo Super Record 50th Anniversary Group and the legendary Campagnolo pneumatic Electra saddle both graced with 18k yellow gold.
